At 140 years old\, it is the oldest women-focused social service organizations in Chicago. His position involves facilitating and coordinating the services of the Illinois SBDC and its required metrics. This included encouraging economic development and identifying and cultivating strategic partnerships within the communities around Chicagoland. As the Director of the IL SBDC and a small business owner\, he also provides the subject matter expertise\, resources\, programs and one-on-one advising to aid small business owners and entrepreneurs seeking to start\, scale/grow or dissolve their business. He was recently named to Diversity MBA Magazine's 2018 Elite List of Top 100 Emerging and Executive Leaders under the age of 50\, is a native South Sider and comes from a family of entrepreneurs. He received a dual MBA in Finance and Management at The Morris Graduate School of Management in Chicago. \n\n\n\nPanelists:\n\nSeke Ballard is the Founder & CEO of Good Tree Capital\, an online lending and investing platform focused on the cannabis industry. After graduating from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill\, Seke spent two and a half years as a Peace Corps Volunteer in the Republic of Georgia\, a post-Soviet nation. This experience shaped Seke's passion for the mechanics of capitalism and the creation of wealth. After leaving the Peace Corps\, Seke earned his MBA from Harvard University and subsequently worked for both Procter & Gamble and Amazon. In 2015 Seke left corporate America to build his own company\, Good Tree Capital\, where the mission is to provide fair access to capital to all. \n\n\n\nRoxanna Daniel\, Founder\, and Co-Founder of Taj Development Company\, Inc. has spent more than 40 years in the trades and more than 25 years in construction development. The first LGBTQ certified Black Lesbian in Illinois she was also one of the first round of women in The Painters and Decorators Council at Chicago Washburne Trade School. Currently\, her company works with Real Estate Developers and Investors on creating budgets and scopes of work for property acquisition\, renovations\, and sale. Working with contract budgets ranging from $45\,000 - $350\,000\, Taj Development has been a trusted staple in 72 Chicagoland and suburban communities. In the past 2 years\, Taj Development has expanded its working relationships with 203k consultants\, Lenders\, and Brokers to ensure optimum property salability. Launching initiatives to improve efficiencies in construction scheduling\, supply orders\, compliance\, and risk management\, by creating jobs Roxanna has spearheaded 200% company growth. \n\n\n\nLiu Montsho is a seasoned HR professional and organizational development specialist with over 12 years of experience.
