Second Glance Productions presents “LGBTQupid Soiree” – a multi-medium, kaleidoscope community event in two parts that will make up an evening of interactive performance and community engagement when "Dating GAYme" -- the ultimate dating experience where live, onstage match-making collides with improv comedy -- meets the exclusive premiere of "It's Not You, It's Me" -- a proof-of-concept for a new innovative, Chicago dating docuseries.
Set to honor and recognize Black History Month, provide brave spaces to facilitate connection/communication/mental health and self-love tools for Valentine’s Day, and provide sexual health testing, education, and resources for National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day, “LGBTQupid Soiree” is intentionally and purposefully crafted to ‘edutain’ and provide resources and knowledge regarding holistic health, all while capturing the hearts of the community in a way that feeds the soul -- through laughter and love.
Dating GAYme: Whether you’re looking for love or looking for laughs, Dating Gayme is the gayest way to spend your evening! An experience that's 1/2 queer dating show and 1/2 queer improv spectacular, join LGBTQ+ individuals on their quest to make a romantic connection, and the queer improvisers that are going to make that possible. Actual lesbian couple Jordan Myrick (Good Mythical Morning) and Kendahl Landreth (TikTok) are experts on gay love and promise that you'll leave the show with a significant other, the newest addition to your polycule, or at least a few good Grindr matches.
