Please join the Andersonville Chamber of Commerce, Northalsted Business Alliance, and LGBT Chamber of Commerce of Illinois as we bring together our elected officials to discuss the power of Queer Business Communities in Chicago. How they have helped shape the communities they serve and look forward to the celebrations of Pride Month like Midsommarfest, Pride Fest, the Pride Parade, Pride North and Backlot Bash!
We are excited to bring together LGBTQIA+ business owners to network together and share our time with speakers: State Representative Kelly Cassidy, Senator Mike Simmons, Alderman Andre Vasquez, Alderwoman Manaa-Hoppenworth, and Alderman Bennet Lawson. (Additional representatives and elected officials will be added once confirmed)
We will take over Pizza Lobo Andersonville for a wonderful lunch on their patio and Bocce!
Andersonville Chamber of Commerce | andersonville is for everyone
A neighborhood on Chicago’s north side, Andersonville is known for its Swedish roots, historic architecture, and bustling urban main street, Clark Street. When you arrive in Andersonville, you feel you have arrived someplace special. While our roots are Swedish, we are also recognized as the “shop local capital of Chicago,” supporting the largest network of local and independent businesses in the area.
Home to one of Chicago’s largest LGBTQ+ populations, Andersonville is a community full of pride and a commitment to equality.
Northalsted Business Alliance | working to enhance the economic vitality and quality of life for the Northalsted area through programming, services, and events such as Chicago Pride Fest, Northalsted Market Days and Haunted Halsted Halloween Parade that celebrate our LGBTQ+ history, promote tourism and foster a welcoming, safe community for all.
