Event Description:
The MWRD has a long history of advocacy in assuring equal access opportunities for employees and contracts. In recognition of LGBTQ Pride Month, the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago (MWRD) will host a virtual business roundtable on Thursday, June 23, 2022, from 4:30 to 5:30 PM.
This panel will offer LGBTQ business stakeholders the opportunity to learn about contract opportunities at the MWRD and speak directly with MWRD staff on behalf of their respective memberships. The hour-long session will focus on MWRD’s procurement process and diversity program. We will also hear from panelists including Roxanna Daniel, President and CEO Taj Development Company, Inc., Lauren Czaja from Epic Popcorn, and John Lashmett, Supplier Diversity Chair, LGBT Chamber of Commerce Illinois.
