During our education session, you will:
--Learn how proper design and effective use of the built environment can lead to a reduction in the fear of hate crime and the incidence of hate crime, improving quality of life.
--Learn methods on how to help reduce and prevent hate crimes, and what steps to take should you be the victim of, or witness a hate crime.
--Leave equipped with resources on how to protect yourself, your customers, your employees, and your business from hate crime.

Our Education Session will be led by Travis Hooker, Senior Partner of CDO Executives, LLC, and Retired Lieutenant of the Elgin Police Department.

Travis is a skilled legal expert specializing within the diversity, equity, and inclusion sector. Travis is a Certified Professional Instructor who can be found teaching courses and seminars for collegiate, governmental, and private sector audiences. Travis specializes in founding and accelerating outreach programs for the LGBTQ+ community as well as other marginalized and disadvantaged communities.
