How to Incorporate ERG Talent into Talent Management Process

In most organizations, the talent pipeline is typically only reviewed at management levels and above on an annual or six-month timeline. This leaves many of the diverse employees out of the talent discussion.

A process improvement for succession planning is including ERG members in the review process, no matter what level they are. This gets them on leadership's radar.  It is not unusual for management to realize 'hidden' talent that has been overlooked because they weren't visible in talent/succession planning discussions.

It also highlights the value and the work that these ERG members and employees bring to the organization.
