Job Description

The Associate Product Manager - Wireless Mobility is responsible for creating, using analytics and consumer insights to design, a high-quality user experience for this critical product. This role will work cross functionally to understand the needs of customers, the technological capabilities and the drivers of profit.  Assist with management and execution of wireless mobility offerings, develop and implement enhancements and ensure service offerings are aligned with overall company business strategy to meet our customers' needs and financial objectives. Utilize analytics and consumer insights to craft a high-quality user experience. Accountable for some operational responsibilities for maintaining customers network experiences, as well as some reporting tasks. 


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and articulate analysis to provide partners involved in the development of Wireless Mobility solutions.

  • Find opportunities for wireless mobility optimizations that will strengthen customer engagement and increase critical metrics.

  • Identify issues, quantitatively analyze related metrics, and effectively communicate opportunities to key partners and senior leaders

  • Create and maintain monthly and quarterly metric tracking.

  • Perform market research for new features / products.

  • Assist and support of the marketing plan and new product launches.

  • Research product requirements, competitive offerings, and product gaps to determine market needs for enhancement to existing products and/or requirements for a new product development.

  • Assist with defining product requirements based on WM applications and analysis of market opportunities and translate needs into specifications.

  • Execute on the vision and strategy, including the development and maintenance of solution and portfolio roadmaps related to Wireless Mobility.

  • Prioritize new features, capabilities and enhancement to maximize business benefit and efficiently improve the product.

  • Identify, research, and resolve operational issues and performing ad hoc performance analysis as required.

  • Provide analysis and support for continuous Improvement projects.

  • Produce and distribute operational reports.

  • Collaborate with internal partners to identify and mitigate possible operational issues with product launch and product enhancement initiatives.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Minimum of 3 years in product management, product development, sales and/or marketing.

  • Advanced experience with MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)

  • Experience working across organizational boundaries, including positive relationship management skills and working with outside vendors.

  • Strong team orientation skills.

  • Demonstrated project management and analytical skills.

  • Strong experience with data analysis in conducting root cause investigation

  • Ability to create marketing programs including but not limited to promotions, marketing communications, point of sale, etc.

  • Solid interpersonal and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to analyze issues, develop and deploy solutions within a dynamic environment.

  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple assignments simultaneously.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including speaking in front of small and large groups

  • Strong time and project schedule management skills required to consistently meet deadlines and ensure preparedness for launch or implementation of products, services or initiatives
