THE INSTITUTE
The Institute provides a unique, dynamic learning opportunity in the critical area of financial education. Course instruction occurs in the workplace or in privately hosted group settings. This offers employees and/or association members convenient access to education that will give them a better understanding of financial fundamentals.
The Heartland Institute of Financial Education was founded to provide this education. Founder Alan Gappinger, a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and long-time financial advisor, was well aware of this need for financial literacy education and recognized the unique role financial advisors could play in providing it. He also realized the tremendous benefit there would be for individuals, businesses and other organizations to have access to this education through a national consortium of colleges and universities.
Divorce and family law issues can be traumatic, and we take pride in being there and supporting our clients from the moment they walk through the door. Our legal experience allows us to successfully navigate the court system and our life experience allows us to understand what you are going through. Have a passion for bringing events to life that began organically with my first network — family. From my earliest days, I would help my grandmother set up and entertain for her infamous dinner parties and social gatherings.
By the young age of six, inspiration had sparked. This is when I knew that this would be my career.
I have been in the restaurant and catering industry for over 15 years Chicago credits that include: The Italian Village and The Glenview House. It wasn't until I was appointed Director of Events and Marketing at Koi Fine Asian Cuisine where I was inspired to branch out and become a brand of my very own.
The rest, is history.
I started Samuel James Watches LTD with nothing but a vision of creating distinctive and reliable time pieces that expose individuality. As a watch collector, I could not stand that I was unable to find unique time pieces that didn’t look like a replications of everyone else’s watch. I grabbed a pencil and a sketch book and began drawing watch designs the way I’d want them to look. These designs did not look like anything I could find in existence so I decided to make the drawings come to life myself. I want to wear watches that turn heads and cause people to look twice at it. Originally from the United Kingdom, Andy moved to Chicago in 2010. The experience of moving across the world and adapting to new cultures and systems gave him a huge appreciation of the challenges faced by new comers to the home buying process.
