Event Description:

The LGBT Chamber of Commerce of Illinois is proud to present "Digital Marketing Tools for Small Business". This free workshop is for small business owners with a working website who want to learn how to effectively monetize their ideas and products.

With over 20 years of professional experience in branding and marketing while maintaining her own creative practice, our speaker JinJa Birkenbeuel will dive into the importance of branding and defining your unique value proposition, share recommendations for various social media platforms and address alternative methods of connecting with your audience and customers online.

Our personal coach, JinJa Birkenbeuel, requests that you fill out this survey before attending the workshop so she can customize future workshops specifically for us in Chicago. Thank you in advance!

A laptop, tablet or smart mobile device is recommended to get the most out of this interactive experience, but it is not required.

Business owners or entrepreneurs that have an existing in-market small, mid-size or sole proprietor business, with a live website.

* What should I bring into the event?

Smart phone, tablet or laptop is recommended to get the most of our this experience; a notepad and a pen/pencil.

* Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

No.

* Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?

Yes, it's transferable. But attendee will be required to input their name and email to gain entry.

JinJa Birkenbeuel is the founder of a new start up The Honest Field Guide Podcast and CEO of Birk Creative, a brand strategy and management consulting agency founded in 1997. Birk CreatIve helps its clients find their blind spots and gaps in their brand strategy so they can connect their business processes to desired outcomes. Birk Creative is comprised of a creative team of divergent thinkers that can unlock business opportunities you didn’t know existed, and transform your mindset about how to win customers and their attention.

Birkenbeuel is a serial entrepreneur. Along with her co-writer, she launched her Americana country band Utah Carol in 1995. She created three albums and a digital marketing campaign which resulted with Utah Carol signing to a label. Birkenbeuel is also an Apple iBook and Google Play Books Publisher through her digital book publishing company Birk Digital.
