Event Description:
Join the LGBT Chamber of Commerce of Illinois in our annual Beyond the Pride Parade conversation. With the ever-changing society we live in today in facing opportunities around virtual engagement and diversity & inclusion, we will focus on ways to keep your PRIDE ERG Members and allies engaged and supported.
Guests: Rada Yovocich (The Darkest Horse), Gearah Goldstein (Gearah Golstein Consulting), Michael Nordman (Molson Coors), and Cherie Price Coleman (Illinois Diversity Council).
Speakers
Gearah Goldstein is a nationally recognized Diversity & Inclusion consultant and LGBTQ+ subject matter expert. She is a founder of The GenderCool Project, an awareness campaign and 501c3, that promotes positive conversations supporting young people who identify as transgender or non-binary. She has been featured prominently in national media including: NBC TODAY; The New York Times; Rolling Stone; CBS; NPR national news and many other outlets.
Michael Nordman has a strong background in community service, fundraising and PR/marketing.
Starting in 2016, Michael became the Community Affairs Director at Molson Coors Beverage Company
(formerly MillerCoors) with a portfolio of national African American, LGBTQ, veterans and women’s
partnerships as well as leading Chicago community partnerships. He volunteers and serves on the Board
of the Illinois LGBT Chamber of Commerce and is a member of the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce's
Emerging Leaders Chicago group.
